IAFF Strategic Campaigners are available to support your affiliate’s work – including marshaling resources from across the union to help you win battles at the local and state/provincial levels. Contact your DVP to request our assistance today.
What We Do
We work with the IAFF Communications Division to help you tell your story. From crisis communications to public relations, we can help with developing messaging, campaign management, and social media. We can also coordinate custom design services for Locals, including logos, mailers, websites, and social media graphics.
We develop new member orientations, develop and strengthen local communications, train you how to organize your local, offer research assistance on organizing and union activity, and provide strategic planning sessions to make sure you and your local leadership are prepared.
We provide campaign planning assistance, conduct landscape assessments to determine viability of campaigns, review local goals and the best way to achieve them, and with the IAFF Political Department, we access and utilize voter file database info.
