Montréal Wins IAFF Pink T-Shirt Design Contest

November 20 • 2019

The winner in the 2019 IAFF Best Pink T-Shirt Contest for Breast Cancer Awareness Month is Montréal, QC Local 125 with 1,569 votes. Local 125 was among the 100 entries submitted.

The winning T-shirt was designed by Eric Boulé in collaboration with Local 125 member Marc-André Gosselin. Boulé’s mother is a breast cancer survivor. The T-shirts were sold and worn by fire fighters who participated in the CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) Run for the Cure in Montréal on October 6.

“Our members are a constant presence in the community, and fighting the battle against breast cancer comes naturally to them. It is no surprise to me that our local takes this seriously — we are proud to be a part of the search for a cure,” says Local 125 President Christopher Ross.

The winning affiliate receives a free registration to the 2020 Affiliate Leadership Training Summit/Human Relations Conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Thank you to those that participated, and don’t forget to submit your design next October.
