The IAFF is welcoming back North Charleston, SC Local 2994 after a 33-year absence.
“We had been gone for too long and it was time to return,” says Local 2994 President Richard Dube. “Nowhere else can we find quality benefits – including behavioral health and financial services – all in one place.”
Equally important, President Dube says was to join with the state affiliate, the Professional Fire Fighters Association of South Carolina (PFFASC). Citing the recently passed Firefighter Cancer Health Care Benefit Plan legislation as an example, Local 2994 members want to be a part of the process as the PFFASC fights for the interests of South Carolina fire fighters.
Joining President Dube on the Local 2994 Executive Board are Vice President Anthony Saraceni, Secretary Kyle Lewis and Treasurer Zackary Jawish.
