The IAFF and FirstNet Built with AT&T, in a public-private partnership with the First Responder Network Authority, are committed to educating fire fighters and paramedics about the benefits of FirstNet and the impact it can have on public safety communications during these critical times.
As IAFF members continue to respond to the COVID-19 spread nationwide, AT&T has significantly reduced its retail footprint to protect our communities and employees during the COVID-19 response and is adapting processes to continue to support IAFF members as follows:
FirstNet Sign Up and Account Servicing
- Digital: FirstNet-eligible members can subscribe online. Use the Association Referral Code IAFF123 during sign-up. This option supports new activations, new number or number port from a different carrier, AT&T to FirstNet migration, device upgrades and add-a-line (tablet, smartwatch).
- Local Support: Email [email protected] with your name, location and IAFF local number to be connected to a local representative.
FirstNet is the only nationwide, wireless broadband communications platform dedicated to America’s first responders and public safety community. As men and women across the country stand on the frontlines to support the nation’s response to COVID-19, FirstNet has the unthrottled connectivity and priority communications to respond during this public health emergency on a dedicated network. It’s this type of unparalleled emergency support that distinguishes FirstNet, public safety’s network, from commercial wireless networks.
