Throughout what has been an extremely active wildfire and hurricane season – made even more difficult by the COVID-19 pandemic – the IAFF has been providing assistance to our members through our disaster relief operations, including food and water, supplies, financial assistance, behavioral health counseling, emergency home repairs and anything else they need.
IAFF Disaster Relief teams are now again on the ground in the Gulf Coast as Hurricane Delta is following a similar path as Hurricane Laura just weeks ago. It is anticipated that many of the same members will be impacted – approximately 4,800 reside in the region.
