Licensed Training Registration
At this time the IAFF HazMat Training Department has licensed its HazMat Operations and HazMat Technician courses to enable departments and fire academies to train and certify their own fire personnel to current standards.
If you are licensed training site that is scheduling a training event, please read below and then fill out the form to register your training with the IAFF.
Licensed classes must be conducted according to the terms and conditions agreed in the department/training agency licensing contract. Once you register your training, you will be contacted by an IAFF HazMat training coordinator to discuss the following:
- Getting a customized link so that your students may their Pro Board certificate via email and have their information submitted to the Pro Board registry.
- Verifying the training site information and instructors.
- Determining how testing procedures and skills evaluations will be conducted.
Please register your training here at least 2 months in advance to allow IAFF headquarters to send a registration link and schedule a proctor to administer certification testing.
