  Our Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial is an annual event that honors the memory of our brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The Memorial is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and hosts a solemn ceremony every September.

IAFF secures victory for family after fire fighter’s fatal heart attack

After years of legal battles, Memphis, TN Local 1784 Fire Fighter/EMT Jeffrey Scott Arick’s family wins full line-of-duty death benefits with the assistance of the IAFF’s Medical Assistance Program, and ongoing support from Local 1784, 14th District Vice President Danny Todd, and General President Edward Kelly.

‘They made the ultimate sacrifice.’ Two Idaho IAFF members killed, one injured in ambush

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Local 710 Battalion Chief John Morrison and Kootenai County, Idaho Local 2856 Battalion Chief Frank Harwood were killed during the attack while responding to a brushfire.
