IAFF members from Illinois were honored during the 25th Annual Illinois Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial and Fire Fighting Medal of Honor Awards Ceremony on May 8.
The ceremony began by recognizing fire fighters who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The Office of the State Fire Marshal also presented awards for bravery, heroism, the dedication to duty by an individual and excellence in teamwork.
