Below is important information regarding the cancellation of the 2021 John P. Redmond Symposium/Dominick F. Barbera EMS Conference and Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial due to the spike in COVID cases from the Delta variant and its ability to break through the vaccinated population.

- If you have reserved a room at the Hilton New York Midtown or Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, please contact the respective hotel to cancel your reservation and remove any holds on your credit card.
- Contact your travel agent or airline to request a refund on airfare.
- Our accounting department is working diligently to process refunds. All refunds will be handled by August 13, 2021. If you chose the FIREPAC option (U.S. and Canada) to register, please consider keeping your FIREPAC contribution intact.
- The 20-Year 9/11 Remembrance Wreath-Laying scheduled for Friday, September 10 and hosted by Local 94, Local 854 and the IAFF will be streamed live on the IAFF website and posted on the IAFF YouTube channel. Additional details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial
- If you have reserved a room at The Antlers, Hotel Eleganté or Hilton Garden Inn, please contact the respective hotel to cancel your reservation and remove any holds on your credit card.
- The 2021 Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial observance will be held as a virtual service on September 18 as we honor those we lost in 2020.
