The Professional Wildland Fire Fighters Local I-96, the largest private fire company whose 50 members respond to wildland fires across the United States including Puerto Rico, is among the IAFF’s newest affiliates.
“We knew right away that we wanted to affiliate with the IAFF,” says Professional Wildland Fire Fighters Local I-96 Bradley Hillious. “As new members, we are looking forward to increasing our training opportunities, improving retention, and helping our company grow with respect, honor, integrity and commitment.”
Local I-96 members are pre-positioned in more than 20 states, enabling them to respond to a wildland fire at a moment’s notice. On calls, their primary focus is structure protection.
Joining President Hillious on the I-96 Executive Board are Vice President Justin Mitchell and Secretary-Treasurer Ross Fillmore.
