The campaign has already kicked off in southern Nevada. To start, the PFFN donated $10,000 to the cause.
“Just in southern Nevada alone, our members respond to a residential fire every 19 hours, often leaving at least two residents without a place to stay and basic necessities,” says PFFN Secretary-Treasurer Scott Gorgon. “The money raised during this campaign helps these citizens meet those needs while they wait on their insurance claims to go through.”
Last year, the money raised during this campaign helped more than 1,000 families.
