Groves, TX Local 1905 is one of the IAFF’s newest affiliates.
Newly elected Local 1905 President Haden Grove says fire fighters organized because to ensure they have a seat at the table when decisions that affect their livelihoods and safety on the job are made.
“We are looking forward to working with our new fire chief, Lance Billeaud, to make sure we have the resources we need to best serve our community,” says President Grove. “Local 1905 also hopes to network with other IAFF locals to see what strategies are working for them.”
“The 11th district is very proud to welcome Local 1905 into the IAFF family,” says 11th District Vice President Sandy McGhee. “These members wanted to be proactive and organize before any issues crop up. The IAFF will be ready to provide assistance, if needed.”
Joining Grove on the Executive Board are Vice President Josh Hidalgo and Secretary-Treasurer Reid Guidry.
