Bigfork, MT Local 5289 is one of the newest affiliates to join the IAFF.
Bigfork is a growing community in Flathead County, Montana. To meet emergency service needs, the Bigfork Fire Department has transitioned from a volunteer fire department to a combination department.
“The career members decided to form Local 5289 to have a seat at the table as decisions are being made about the future of our department,” says Local 5289 President Raul Brown. “We are looking forward to connecting with other IAFF locals like us and getting great ideas.”
Joining President Raul Brown on the Local 5289 Executive Board are Vice President Fletcher Anderson and Secretary-Treasurer Emily Smith.
