In celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the IAFF, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) commemorated the unprecedented support generations of IAFF members have provided to MDA by placing an ad in USA Today.
“The significant funds you have raised have made MDA what it is today,” says MDA CEO and President Lynn O’Connor Vos. “Now, for the first time ever, medical advances are transforming the lives of individuals affected by neuromuscular disease. It is such a privilege to be your partner and we are very grateful for everything you do to make our lives better.”
Since 1954, IAFF members have raised more than $630 million in support of MDA.
