On the advice and guidance of our IAFF COVID-19 Advisory Team, the Executive Board has determined that hosting the 2021 John P. Redmond Symposium/Dominick F. Barbera EMS Conference and Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial poses too great a risk given the spike in COVID cases due to the Delta variant and its ability to breakthrough the vaccinated population.
Therefore, we have made the decision to cancel the Redmond/Barbera Conference scheduled for September 6-10 in New York City and postpone the Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial scheduled for September 18 in Colorado Springs.
