The IAFF Official Online Store is open for business with a new vendor, selling quality union-made goods. You can go directly to the shop at www.shopiaff.com or click on the link on the IAFF home page.
“We are excited to partner with American Roots on our relaunched IAFF Store,” said General President Edward Kelly. “We are proud to offer our members a store that is by a union, for a union with the high-quality, durable goods they want and expect. The reception they received at our Fallen Fire Memorial was exciting and I look forward to the service the store will provide the IAFF family. ”
American Roots, a union shop since it launched in 2015, employs workers represented by the United Steel Workers (USW) Local 366. All of their apparel is produced in their Maine factory with locally sourced materials.
“Here at American Roots, we believe strongly in the labor movement and its workers,” said American Roots co-founder Ben Waxman. “It is important to us that we offer good quality products, while also providing good union jobs. We are truly honored to partner with the IAFF, a leader in the labor movement across the U.S. and Canada, to provide customized, union-made products.”
IAFF members and their families can purchase IAFF merchandise in bulk or single-item orders. Items include everything from apparel and decals to wallets and belts. All goods are currently made in the USA, but American Roots is planning to soon offer Canadian-based, union-made products as well.
A portion of every purchase will be donated to the IAFF Foundation.
