Each year during the holidays, we travel to be with family and friends, but this year will be much different due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to make sure members stay safe as infections are on the rise in both the United States and Canada.
While some may be traveling to visit with loved ones, many of your immediate families will want to visit you at the fire station for a holiday meal. But we must remain vigilant in minimizing risk for exposure and infection. We encourage you to review our information and recommendations to help ensure everyone has a happy and safe holiday.

Do your part to minimize the spread – promote and practice these safety precautions daily:
1. Wear a face mask/covering while at the fire station and while in public.
2. Practice social distancing (6 feet or more) both on and off duty.
3. Take your temperature at least twice daily.
4. Wash/sanitize your hands, fire station and home frequently.
In addition, be sure to review your local and state/provincial guidance on gatherings, travel and other restrictions. Also remember to visit our coronavirus website frequently for up-to-date information and resources on COVID-19.
