Fire Ground Survival and Fire Fighter Rescue Awareness

This one-day intensive course provides hands-on training in essential fire ground survival skills and effective fire fighter rescue operations.
NOTE: SCBA will be provided (there is no IDLH). FGS skills are strenuous and difficult to perform. Attendees should notify instructors if they have any injuries or conditions that would prevent them from performing some or all of the skills demonstrated. Lunch will be provided. Registrants should meet in the hotel lobby at 7 a.m. to board transportation.
Responding to Lithium-ion Incidents
8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
This 8-hour class covers UL Fire Safety Research Institute's large-scale testing of lithium-ion battery hazards, reviewing a 2019 energy storage system incident and discussing tactical considerations from the IAFF DOE Research Project on residential energy systems.
Responding to the Interface Demo

This workshop offers an overview of the Responding to the Interface (RTI) program through practical activities, teaching strategies and tactics alongside hands-on demonstrations of hose loads and deployment techniques.
Registrants should meet in the hotel lobby on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 7 a.m. to board transportation.
