IAFF – For You, For Your Family

IAFF Canada’s new member engagement initiative, IAFF – For You, For Your Family, has been a great success thanks to affiliate leaders and our rank-and-file members who are sharing personal stories about how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting them and how they as families have risen to meet the challenges of this new reality.

IAFF members and their spouses across Canada have responded in great numbers to the texts and emails we’ve sent out through this initiative, which is designed to foster a better sense of belonging in this great organization and to highlight how membership in the IAFF benefits us and our families in ways we may not think about every day.

So far we have awarded several members with gift cards as a thank you for contributing to this initiative and for helping to bring us all closer as the IAFF Canada family. Our goal is to reach as many of our rank-and-file members as possible, and to do that we need more mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses for our outreach. Members can opt out of IAFF – For You, For Your Family at any time and stop receiving messages, but we strongly encourage as much participation as possible. Your assistance is appreciated.
