Little Rock Local President Wins Shotgun Drawing
Little
Rock, AR Local 34 President Eddie Jaros Jr. held the winning ticket for a
Remington 870 shotgun in a drawing conducted by the Theodore Roosevelt
Conservation Partnership (TRCP) during the IAFF 2006 Alfred K. Whitehead
Legislative Conference in Washington, DC, March 20, 2006.
The IAFF joined TRCP – an organization focused on conserving, maintaining and
enhancing access to land and water available for hunting, fishing and shooting –
to provide a means for IAFF members with a love for the outdoors to enjoy those
interests with other union members.
“I’ve been an avid bird hunter for a long time,” says President Jaros. “Since
so many of my fellow fire fighters in Arkansas also enjoy hunting, I’m sure I’ll
have plenty of opportunities to bring out this fine gun.” The members of Local
34 look forward to the ongoing IAFF partnership with the TRCP.
