June 20, 2008 -- It is with the deepest regret that the IAFF-MG reports the death of Dan "the Mad Amishman" Miller. He died due to the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Lexington, Kentucky.

A nine-year member of the Greenville, PA Local 1976, miller served as vice president of his Local for five years. He was an avid motorcycle rider and he had been recommended to be the Pennsylvania State Representative for the IAFF-MG. Miller, 40, is survived by his immediate family and a four-year-old son.

A memorial service for fire department members was held Thursday, June 19, 2008, in Greenville. View a snapshot of fellow fire fighters saying goodbye.
