11th District Motorcycle Group Ride to Raise Awareness for Disaster Relief

The IAFF 11th District will hold its first official IAFF Motorcycle Group ride April 21-23, 2006 in the Texas Hill Country. The ride will raise awareness among IAFF-MG members regarding the IAFF Disaster Relief Fund and the ongoing need to replenish the Relief Fund following last fall’s devastating hurricanes. In addition, the 11th District hopes the ride will increase its IAFF-MG membership.

WHEN: April 21-23, 2006

WHERE: Best Western Sunday House, Kerrville, Texas 35 rooms are available for $89 plus tax for single or double and $94 plus tax for three or four people. Your stay includes a FREE FULL BREAKFAST When making reservations, indicate you are attending the IAFF-MG ride. Call (800) 677-9477 for reservations. The room block expires March 22, 2006. Call early to reserve your rooms at the group rate.

COST: Free for IAFF-MG members; $20 for non-member fire fighters and guests.

THEME: To raise awareness for the IAFF Disaster Relief Fund and to increase membership in the IAFF-MG.

AGENDA: Friday, April 21: Hospitality Room opens at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22: Registration, instructions and directions for ride and discussion about the IAFF-MG and the IAFF Disaster Relief Fund. 120-mile ride. Hospitality Room reopens at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 23: Morning networking.
