Orange Beach Fire Fighters Receive Golden Axe Award

April 16, 2009 - Orange Beach, AL Local 4309 was awarded the Golden Axe by the city for its participation in the 2008 Fill-the-Boot campaign. Each year this program benefits children, adults and families served by MDA. Fire fighters raised more than $22,000 in 2008 to help local families and children with neuromuscular disease.

Thanks to Orange Beach Local 4309, MDA is able to provide flu shots, wheel chair assistance, clinic visits, physical therapy and summer camp.
