August 20, 2007 - On August 6, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors started off the 2007 Fill the Boot campaign by honoring Fairfax County, VA Local 2068 for their excellent job. Local 2068 Fills the Boot for MDA from August 31 through September 3.

During their holiday weekend campaign in 2006, members of Local 2068 collected over $360,000. They are number two in the nation behind Houston, TX Local 341.
