August 14, 2007 - Fairfax County, VA Local 2068 honors Virginia MDA Goodwill Ambassador as an honorary union brother and Fairfax County Fire fighter.

At their June 6 general membership meeting, Local 2068 President Mike Mohler made Virginia MDA Goodwill Ambassador Caleb Arbaugh an honorary union brother with a plaque and an IAFF pin. Fire Chief Ron Mastin made Caleb an honorary Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department fire fighter with his own uniform shirt, badge, and ID card.

This presentation was made in advance of the annual Fill the Boot campaign conducted during Labor Day weekend from August 31 through September 3, 2007. Historically, Local 2068 has taken the number one and number two spot in the nation for Fill the Boot. Last year, they proudly collected over $360,000 in the four day Labor Day weekend campaign for MDA.
