August 7, 2007 - On June 28, fire fighters from San Mateo County, CA Local 2400 came together to support MDA and Jerry’s kids. Through the dedication of coordinator, Greg McCarthy, the Redwood City Fire Department team was once again successful in sending a number of kids to camp.

The day ended up raising $5,177 in an impressive two and a half hour time frame. Thanks to Erik’s Deli Café for donating lunch, Whole Foods for their water donation, the Redwood City community for once again supporting the MDA cause and most of all the loyal troops of Local 2400 who went above and beyond for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
