General President Harold Schaitberger joined fire fighters
and other motorcycle enthusiasts at the annual Ride for Life held in Lyons
Station and Dorney Park, Penn. on May 3-4, 2003. The event raised a record
breaking $852,875 for MDA, the largest amount in the ride’s 16-year history.

Fighters Hold Unique MDAC Fundraiser

Brunswick Local 771 fire fighters traveled to New York City to join FDNY
fire fighters in 2003 annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Saint John fire
fighters won their trip by participating in the Muscular Dystrophy
Association of Canada’s (MDAC) 2002 annual Shamrock - Give a Buck for
Luck campaign.
