| RECIPE |
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a bowl, combine the butter, applesauce, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda.
- Gradually, mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients; add the oatmeal and chocolate chips. Stir well.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 - 15 minutes. Let cool before removing from the cookie sheet.
