INGREDIENTS

1 extra large egg, slightly beaten
3/4 cup 1% milk
2 cups 2% shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1 pound ground turkey breast
1 pound lean ground beef
2/3 cup low sodium ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp vinegar
RECIPE

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Beat egg and milk in a large bowl.
  • Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt.
  • Add turkey and beef and mix well using hands.
  • Divide mixture and place in four mini loaf pans or two medium loaf pans.
  • Mix ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar in small dish, spread half over the loaves reserving the other half.
  • Place in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reads 165 degrees F.
  • Let rest for about 5 minutes; drain if desired and serve with extra sauce.
