INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp. butter
3 cups peeled and sliced apples (Macintosh are recommended)
1/4 cup skim milk
3 tbsps. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tbsps

sugar

1 egg
1 1/3 tbsps. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
RECIPE

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the apples and sauté until tender.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend together all the other ingredients until smooth.
  • Spread the apples in a shallow baking dish, forming a level layer. Pour in the milk batter, covering the apples completely.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
