INGREDIENTS

3 cups finely shredded cabbage
¼ cup yellow bell pepper, finely chopped
¼ cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
¼ cup orange bell pepper, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt (optional)
2 tbsp. granulated sugar or sugar substitute, if desired
1 tsp. celery seed
½ cup white wine or rice vinegar
RECIPE

  • Toss together the cabbage and peppers.
  • Dissolve the sugar and salt in the vinegar over very low heat.
  • Add the celery seed to the vinegar mixture and pour over cabbage. Chill for about 1 hour and enjoy!
