INGREDIENTS

2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
½ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tsp. lemon zest, minced
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. fresh rosemary, minced
¼ tsp. dried basil
¼ tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning (preferably Mrs. Dash)
4 (4 oz.) pork chops, lean
RECIPE

  • In a small measuring cup, whisk together garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, rosemary, basil, and lemon-pepper seasoning.
  • Pour ⅓ cup into a large resealable bag reserving remaining marinade for use during grilling.
  • Put chops in bag and seal tightly pressing out as much air as possible.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  • Preheat grill to medium.
  • Drain chops and grill for 6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 145ºF. Brush chops with reserved marinade as they are grilling to moisten.
