| RECIPE |
- Pour the water, oats, and salt (optional) into a medium sized pot.
- Heat the mixture until it boils. Reduce heat to low.
- Using a wooden spoon, stir in the applesauce and cinnamon.
- Continue to cook and stir over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Pour the oatmeal into a bowl. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
