INGREDIENTS

2 c diced cooked chicken
1/4 c bean sprouts
1/4 c diced celery
1/4 c water chestnuts
2 diced scallions
2 tbsp toasted almonds
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder
  salt and pepper to taste
3 - 4 tbsp low fat mayo
4 4" whole wheat pita bread
RECIPE

  • Mix all ingredients together except the pita bread, set aside.
  • Slice off top of bread and toast lightly.
  • Fill each one gently and enjoy!
