INGREDIENTS

4 5 oz.boneless center cut pork chops
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp five spice Chinese powder
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tsp black sesame seeds (optional)
1 tsp orange marmalade
2 tbsp peanut oil
*To reduce the sodium, do not add the kosher salt.
RECIPE

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Mix salt and spice powder together; sprinkle on both sides of chops.
  • Mix both sesame seeds together in shallow dish.
  • Brush one side of each chop with marmalade; coat with seed mixture.
  • Heat ovenproof sautè pan over medium heat with oil. Place chops seed side down and cook until golden brown.
  • Turn chops and finish off in oven about 8 - 10 minutes.
  • When chops are finished, tranfer to serving plate.
