INGREDIENTS

1-6.5 oz. white tuna, packed in water
4 ounces 2% shredded cheddar cheese
  fresh ground pepper to taste
2 tbsp. chopped green onions
2 tbsp. nonfat plain yogurt
2 tsp. diced pimento
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp. low sodium Worcestershire sauce
4 slices whole wheat bread
  cooking spray
RECIPE

  • Combine tuna, cheese, pepper, green onion, yogurt, pimento, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, mix well.
  • Spread tuna mixture evenly over 2 slices of bread; top with remaining bread slices.
  • Transfer sandwiches to a sandwich press or hot griddle that has been coated with cooking spray.  Cook until bread is lightly browned and cheese is slightly melted.
