INGREDIENTS

4 4 ounce skinless chicken breasts
4 tbsp butter
1 small red onion, chopped
2 tbsp flour
1 can Hunt's Diced Tomatoes with Garlic
1/4 c packed brown sugar
1/4 c chopped celery
1 tbsp A-1 Steak Sauce
16 oz Bloody Mary Mix
RECIPE

  • Trim all fat from chicken; sauté in 2 tablespoons of the butter until golden brown; remove to crock pot.
  • Put remaining 2 tablespoons butter in pan and sauté onions and celery until tender; sprinkle flour over onions to form a paste and add tomatoes, stirring to incorporate the flour. Add the brown sugar, A-1, and Bloody Mary mix and pour over chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low 6 hours.
