INGREDIENTS

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
½ cup maple syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup water
RECIPE

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF.
  • Spray a 6-cup muffin pan with cooking spray or use cupcake holders.
  • Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl.
  • Whisk together the wet ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Pour wet ingredients in with the dry and mix well.
  • Divide batter evenly into muffin pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
