INGREDIENTS

2 sl sourdough wheat bread
2 oz Alpine Lace Swiss Cheese
2 sl fresh tomato (if desired)
1 tbsp lite butter spread
RECIPE

  • Place skillet or griddle pan on medium-low heat, place 1/2 TBSP butter in pan to melt.
  • Place one slice of bread in pan and top with cheese and tomato.
  • Butter one side of the remaining slice of bread and put on top of the tomato buttered side up.
  • Let bottom slice become light brown and crisp, carefully flip over sandwich.
  • Press down gently on top of sandwich to squish together and get the cheese to melt.
  • Continue cooking until cheese is melted and sandwich is light brown.
