| RECIPE |
- Preheat oven to 375˚F. Spray cookie sheets with non-fat cooking spray.
- Cream butter with vanilla extract. Add sugars gradually, creaming well.
- Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
- Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in oats.
- Shape dough into balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Make a hollow in each ball and place a gumdrop in each hollow.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack.
Make these with colorful gumdrops for a holiday treat.
