| RECIPE |
- Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
- Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, and red-hot candies. Set aside.
- Core, but do not peel, 6 apples.
- Lightly butter a baking pan. Place the cored apples in it.
- Divide the filling mixture in 6 parts and fill each apple.
- Pour the maple syrup over the apples and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender.
