Amtrak Emergency Responder Safety Alert

In early March, there was an incident in Detroit, Michigan, involving a ladder truck struck by an Amtrak Train.  This prompted the Amtrak Police and Security Department to release an emergency responder safety alert for fire department operations on or in close proximity to railroad property.  Click here for the full safety alert and read about the key points to keep in mind when responding to these types of incidents.
