    • The Ceremony will include presentations commemorating the most tragic day in IAFF history

  • The IAFF Foundation Inaugural Charity Gala

     The IAFF Foundation is dedicated to making sure its members and their families are taken care of in their time of need by providing assistance following disasters or a line-of-duty death. The IAFF Foundation also promotes fire and burn prevention, advocates for fire fighter and paramedic health and safety and promotes public education on how to prevent or recover from these traumatic events.   • Department of Homeland Security/Assistance to Firefighters Grants Research & Development Symposium

     DHS/AFG-funded studies on fire fighter safety and health relate directly to the IAFF priority to help fire fighters and paramedics live longer and healthier lives. Fire fighter-related research is essential to securing the nation's infrastructure and security and to reduce the rate of injury and early death among fire fighters and paramedics. This event will be held for two days and allows registrants to drop in on topics regarding on going research that will affect the way fire fighters live and work. A schedule of topics will be provided on site.
