Convention Delegate Online

Housing forms were enclosed with the credentials mailing. Use the IAFF Delegate Code on the form to reserve rooms at the IAFF discount. Reservations cannot be made by the IAFF.

Hotel reservations for the 2006 IAFF Convention will be accepted by the Toronto Housing Bureau. Reservations can be made online, by phone at (866) 371-0398, or by fax at (416) 203-8477.

Reservation requests received after July 17, 2006 are subject to availability, so be sure to make your reservation early.

Making Reservations Online: You can make your reservation online by using the Delegate Code, located on the Housing Form you received with your credentials mailing.

It is imperative that you make your reservations early. Requests for reservations made after July 17, 2004, will be subject to availability. Reservations cannot be made by the IAFF.

You will receive a confirmation of your reservation from the Toronto Housing Bureau after each booking, modification and/or cancellation. Review it carefully for accuracy. Reservations made online and by telephone will result in an immediate confirmation. Please allow 2 – 3 weeks for confirmation of reservations submitted by mail.

A credit card guarantee or check deposit of $200 USD/CDN is required for each reservation. Credit cards must be valid through the convention date of September 2006. Note: Credit cards act as a late arrival guarantee only; no deposit will be charged to the card and full payment will be due upon check-out. Checks must be made payable and mailed to:

Reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival date to avoid possible penalties. Failure to check-in on the confirmed arrival date will be considered a “No Show”. The guest will be charged a one night room & tax penalty and the reservation will be cancelled. The Sheraton Centre Hotel has an Early Departure policy. Guests who elect to depart prior to their confirmed departure date will be charged a fee equivalent to 50% of the convention room rate of $239 for one night, plus 15% taxes. Guests will have until 11:00 pm on the day of arrival to confirm their departure date and thereby avoid any early departure fee charges.

A limited number of suites are available at the Fairmont Royal York and the Sheraton Centre. Rates range from $299 to $1099 CDN, depending on the suite category. If you are interested in reserving a suite, please call the Toronto Housing Bureau at (416) 203-3815 or send an email to suites@torcvb.com. Please provide your name and contact information, and the type of suite you are interested in. Your request will be addressed within 2 business days.
