IAFF Meets With Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper

March 18, 2008 -- Jim Lee, IAFF Assistant the General President for Canadian Operations (left), presented Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper with a framed photograph of the Prime Minister and IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger during a March 13, 2008 meeting in Ottawa. The photograph was taken in August, 2006 when the Prime Minister participated in an IAFF FireOps 101 event in Toronto. Lee also thanked Harper for his government’s commitment to fund the IAFF Haz-Mat and CBRN training programs in Canada.
