August 13, 2007 -- Every Friday the 13th, Port Dover, Ontario, is the site of a pilgrimage of motorcycle enthusiasts along the shores of Lake Erie. This annual event has taken place since 1981, including two Friday the 13ths this yea (one in April and the other in July).

The IAFF-MG 13th District participated in the July 13 event along with more than 150,000 bikers. The journey started in Whitby (just east of Toronto) and finished in Port Dover, a distance of 200 kilometers. Because of the volume of bikes, this trip took four hours.

IAFF-MG 13th District members are looking forward to June 13, 2008, for the Port Dover ride once again.
