IAFF-MG District 1 to Hold Inaugural Ride

The IAFF-MG District 1 will hold its inaugural ride September 10, 2006, departing from the Bear Mountain/West Point, New York area and touring local Orange County 9/11 memorials. The ride travels through West Point and along scenic Route 218 overlooking the Hudson River into the heart of Orange County (home of Orange County Choppers). The ride includes a poker run and lunch at the end of the run. Proceeds benefit the City of Newburgh Firefighters Local 589's Widows and Orphans Fund and the 9/11 memorials along the ride.
