10th District IAFF-MG to Hold Inaugural Ride
(Updated April 25, 2007) -- The 10th District IAFF-MG will hold its
Inaugural Ride and get acquainted gathering June 21-22,
2007, in Phoenix, Arizona. The event will include a tour of
the Hall of Flame Museum.
The ride will begin on June 23 to the Grand Canyon, with
stops along the way. Some riders from northern California will leave for Phoenix
on June 18, arriving on June 21, with time for sightseeing and picking up riders from other
areas. On June 22, riders will meet at the Hall of Flame Museum at 11:00
a.m. for a tour, followed by burgers, chicken, beans and salad at the
Phoenix Shrine Center at 3:00 p.m. On June 23, riders will leave for the
Grand Canyon.

The IAFF-MG 10th District is also planning a ride up the
California and Oregon coasts to visit the famed Spruce Goose. This ride will
begin in Sacramento, California, August 13, 2007. Fire fighters from Oregon
will serve as guides and are offering a ride on their fire Boat -- the
oldest in the country.
