Unfortunately, emergency responders must sometimes make the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of their job. This section of the Web site is dedicated to announce, honor and memorialize our members that die in the line-of-duty.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter/Engineer/ Paramedic Douglas Dale Haase, Sr. of IAFF Local 757 - Saint Charles, Missouri. Brother Haase, 60, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 while at the fire station after following a call.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, Missouri 63379, (636) 528-8244. The funeral will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. also at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home. Additional information can be obtained from the Missouri Fire Service Funeral Assistance Team website at www.mofirefuneral.org.
