Description: 34:15-43.2 Respiratory system diseases. Volunteer fire department members. Is an active member of such department. Passed an entry medical examination. Manifests itself within 90 days of the event medically determined to the cause. Rebuttable. Assembly no. 1173 Cancer, including leukemia. Member must demonstrate exposure to a known carcinogen while in the service of the department. Known carcinogen: a substance identified as a carcinogen by the State Department of Health and Senior Services or by the IARC.
